Flexible Adhesive RGB LED strip from Jaycar. $3.95 for 3 LED section and can be bought in up to 5 metre lengths (50 sections approx $147.50). Wonder how this compares to making up just lengths on standard LEDs.

Multi-coloured LED 'mood' aquarium light. Strong lighting from aquarium that changes colours gradually to add atmosphere.

Christmas lights tree spiral. Length of LEDs to wrap around tree trunks that have LEDs that dance up and down the spiral. Lights would spiral up from the ground. Could also be adapted to be placed on lengths of straight tubing that are group to make a sort of exploding lights effect.
